Frequently asked questions

Who can use Ayma?

Ayma is only for adults aged 18 and over.

How do I sign in?

With your phone number, a Google account, or an Apple account.

What does Ayma do with my photos?

Ayma automatically analyses photos you upload (including facial and physique analysis) and runs a web search on your name to understand you and improve matches. Results stay in Ayma’s private working memory and aren’t shown on your profile unless you ask. This analysis can’t be turned off while you use Ayma. See the Privacy Policy.

Does Ayma verify other users?

No. Ayma does not run background, identity, or reference checks. See Safety.

How do I report or block someone?

Use the in-app block and reporting tools: the report option in a conversation, or the feedback tool.

How do credits work?

Some AI features cost credits (e.g., a deep dive, a match score, a facial or physique report). Your balance and prices are on the usage screen in the app. Spent credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Store purchases are refunded by Apple or Google under their rules.

Can I connect my Google account?

Yes, optionally; it’s off by default. Ayma gets read-only access to recent Gmail subjects and senders (plus a small sample of message bodies) and Calendar titles and attendee counts. Nothing is stored verbatim, and you can disconnect anytime in Profile settings.

How do I export my data?

Use the export option in the app.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile, then account settings. Can’t open the app? See Delete your account.

Does Ayma sell my data or show ads?

No. Ayma does not sell personal data and does not use it for third-party advertising.
